Keeping it a secret ©1995
Music & Lyrics by: Lee Ladensack

It's not easy, just to think about you

But it's all I got at night knowing our love is through
When you let me go, I had loved too far
Now I'm keeping it a secret from my heart

Chorus
If I tell myself, you gave up on trying

and you loved some one else, well It would be like dying
So I'm keeping it a secret from my heart
Yes I'm keeping it a secret from my heart

You said your love was mine, and it was strong and true

So with every ounce of faith, baby I believed in you
Then you changed your mind, and said that we should be apart
Now I'm keeping it a secret from my heart

Back to the bottom ©1995
Music & Lyrics by: Lee Ladensack

I didn't mean to say those words to make you cry

My selfish pride stepped in and took me by surprise
well now I'm beggin you to stay, please don't let us fall apart

Chorus
Won't you take me back to the bottom of your heart

Won't you take me back to the bottom of your heart

It’s not so easy to admit my side is wrong

my bad mistakes have put me right where I belong
Is there something I can say, please don’t keep me in the dark

Chorus

Bridge

There must be a way to make you see

The love we feel can still be strong
This fool is hoping you’ll believe in me

solo

What will it take for you to try and let me in

when will your heart forgive and let you love again
can’t you give me one more try, please don’t let this go too far.

Chorus

By this time tommorow ©1995
Music & Lyrics by: Lee Ladensack

By this time tommorow, I'll be on my way

No need to worry, Just give me one more day
I know you been lonely, I been feelin the same, but
By this time tommorow, I'll be comin home to stay.

I'm going out of my mind, I need to feel your kiss

I'm fallin way behind, without your tenderness
Time's a keeping me wondering, how much I've missed
So keep a light on dear, the road is clear and I promise you this

By this time tommorow, I'll be on my way
No need to worry, Just give me one more day
I know you been lonely, I been feelin the same, but
By this time tommorow, I'll be comin home to stay.

Solo

I hope it's not too late, I know you're hanging on

Don't wanna  hesitate, to get where I belong
Keep a callin my name dear, I'll keep a singing this song
and in a little while, you'll see me smilin' in your arms.

By this time tommorow, I'll be on my way
No need to worry, Just give me one more day
I know you been lonely, I been feelin the same, but
By this time tommorow, I'll be comin home to stay

Tomorrow never came ©1998
Music & Lyrics by: Lee Ladensack

As I sat there on the porch step she began her last goodbye,

and she told me we'd be better off as friends.
Well, I helped her with her suitcase and some money for the road,
and I told her that my love would never end.

Then she started that old pick-up but before she pulled away,

a song came on the the radio that they played our wedding day.
I clenched my fists in anger but I couldn't stop the pain,
and even though she promised me forever, Tomorrow  never came.

It was 2 a.m. in Memphis, on that warm and rainy night,

when she called and said she'd found a cheap hotel.
She was tired from the journey but she knew I'd be up late,
cause she didn't think I took things very well.

After trying to console me, placing every word just right,

said she'd call again tommorow, then she gave me her good night.
And I bit my lip in anger now I know it was in vain,
cause even though she promised me forever, Tomorrow never came.

Bridge
I felt the cold surrounding silence crush my heart,

As those haunting memories filled my eyes.
But with all my will I searched for courage in the dark,
I vowed to make it through one more lonely night.

One by one the years went slowly, and my life had long since changed,

Then a letter came from Memphis to my door.
She was driving in tomorrow, said she'd pass that old cafe.
And she'd really like to see me just once more.

She was hoping I'd remember, she was hoping I'd forget,

She was leaning on the good times, she was facing her regret.
But my strength made her a stranger, cause my heart was over the pain
so even though she promised me forever, Tomorrow never came
yes, and even though she promised me forever, Tomorrow never came

Hey, Little Darlin’ ©1994
Music & Lyrics by: Lee Ladensack

Do ya wanna walk in the moonlight?

Do ya want me to sing french songs in your ear?
Do ya think I could stay until midnight?
Do ya think I could prove myself sincere?

Chorus
Hey, Little Darlin’,

Do ya think we could get it on tonight
Little Darlin’?
Just say the word and it’ll make everything alright.
What’s wrong Little Darlin?
Can’t you see I’m coming after your love?
Hey, Little Darlin’
Don’t you know I just can’t get enough?

I remember when I first saw you

The way you looked at me really turned me on.
You got a cetain kind of voo doo
I wanna pick you up and take you home.

Chorus

Bridge

I can see right through this illusion

Sometimes the truth seems so unreal
And  I can walk through this life of confusion
But I’ll never know the way you feel.

Chorus

Do ya wanna walk in the moonlight?

Do ya want me to sing french songs in your ear?
Do ya think I could stay until midnight?
Do ya think I could prove myself sincere?

The One ©1997
Music & Lyrics by: George Reeves

He tucked the diamond into his pocket,

he'd decided tonight's the night
He said a prayer asking reassurance t
hat she was the one who was right

He'd heard it said when you've found your true love,
somehow you'll know it right from the start
He heard a voice whisper if you can answer me yes
from deep in your heart

Chorus 1
Do you cry for her, would you die for her,

Do you know you'd do anything to win her love,
And not rest until it's done,
And then if she feels the same
you know you've found The One.

She took an outfit out of the closet,

she was hoping tonight's the night
She took her diary out of her dresser
unsure about what to write

Was he a product of wishful thinking?
Was there some way she could really know?
As though another was guiding her hand
an answer began to flow

Chorus 2
Do you cry for him, would you die for him

Do you know you'd do anything to win his love
And not rest until it's done
And then if he feels the same
you know you've found the one

Bridge 1
Only time can prove love is true
for all the world to see

Hand in hand the years unfolded,
a true love story meant to be

Today's their fiftieth anniversary,
three generations all gather round

Sweet little Rachael just turned eighteen
she's consumed with a love she has found

She follows grandma into the bedroom,
that question burning down deep inside
And with that diary clutched to her breast
her grandma began to confide

Tag

Some wisdom comes only with age
But this was a gift and she showed her the page

Chorus 2

Fatal Attraction ©1997
Music & Lyrics by: George Reeves

Baby please, please don't say good-bye

Baby please, please don't say good-bye
Cause you're my fatal attraction - leave me now and I'll die

Baby please, please don't say so long
Baby please, please don't say so long
Cause you're my fatal attraction - leave me now and I'm done

You attracted me from the first day we met

I got all caught up like a fish in a net
Now I need you baby like the fish needs the sea
If you leave me high and dry it'll be the death of me

Baby please, please don't say good-bye

Baby please, please don't say good-bye
Cause you're my fatal attraction - leave me now and I'll die

You attracted me like a bulb does a bug

like a tango with a grizzly bear attracts a big hug
Like a black widow woman, through with her fun
her man's of no more use - his time on earth is done

Baby please, please don't say we're through

Baby please, please don't say we're through
Cause you're my fatal attraction - I just can't live without you

You attracted me like a moth to a flame

But I guess I had a choice cause I've got no one to blame
Now I need you baby like the crops need rain
If you leave me cold - my forecast is pain

Baby please, please don't say good-bye
Baby please, please don't say good-bye
Cause you're my fatal attraction - leave me now and I'll die

Girl quit pretending ©1994
Music & Lyrics by: Lee Ladensack

Your long legs got me hypnotized.

You got that hot blooded look in your eyes
The way you strut your stuff really drives me crazy.

Woman please, you got me on my knees

I got to tell you how my aching heart feels
One look wasn't enough you just had to amaze me.

Chorus
Girl quit pretending you don't notice me.

My mouth is hittin the floor baby can't you see
My temperature's high but my tongue is tied
I'm too far gone to be alone tonight
I got my mind made up, I got to win your love

In a fix, no control

You wanna rock but baby I wanna roll
I need a love connection won't you look my way.

I got some money and I'll treat you right

I'll give ya good-good lovin' tonight
If you would only give me the time of day.

Chorus

Bridge

Well I can always love you in my mind

And If you don't want commitment I can leave my heart behind
I could be your hero and return to save the day
you could be my princess and I could sweep your heart away

Solo
Chorus

Time and Time again ©1995
Music & Lyrics by: Lee Ladensack

Funny, seems I'm losing my mind over you

and it's tearing my world in two

Baby, when I was down on my luck where were you

seems like even old friends can forget you too

Chorus
But Time and Time again

You go around in my head
A friend without a friend
Maybe it's better left unsaid

Solo

No more crying, cause I can face another day without you

But the happiness we had I'll hold onto

Forget you, well that's the farthest thing from my mind

well maybe....In time

Chorus

That’s what I get for lovin' you ©1996
Music & Lyrics by: Lee Ladensack

I get excited when you hold me close

and kiss me the way you do
Your heart’s invitin' me to boldly go
To heaven and back with you

I never felt a love so strong
All my senses are hangin' on

Chorus

That’s what I get for lovin' you

That’s what I get for lovin' you
That’s what I get for hangin' around
Makin' you smile when you’re feelin' down
I can’t believe a love can feel this true
That’s what I get for lovin' you

I should’ve known I’d fall head over heels

When you dropped your love my way
You took my hand and I began to feel
The misery slippin' away

Just one look - my heart was shakin’
Destiny called - and my love was awaken

Chorus
That’s what I get for lovin' you

That’s what I get for lovin' you
That’s what I get for hangin' around
Lyin' next to you when the sun goes down
I can’t help it for feelin' the way that I do
That’s what I get for lovin' you

Solo
Chorus

Deep in love ©1996
Music & Lyrics by: Lee Ladensack

It came to me this morning as I lay awake in bed

The sun was shining brighter than it had before
I felt a different feeling and remembered what you said
now I'm not alone with heartache anymore

Chorus
I'm deep in love - I'm deep in love

the thought of you reminded me of heaven's grace
I'm deep in love - I'm deep in love
And I'll never let that heartache take your place

I thought about the future as I threw away the past
Those nights alone were takin what I had to give
My head and hands are shakin and my heart is beating fast
From now on I've got a reason to live
