Songwriter / Lead Guitarist / Vocalist
George Reeves
From 1970 to 1977 George was a part of the Athens music scene playing in “Acme Blues Band”, “Easy Roscoe”, “Curly Maple” and “Stop 20” to name a few. Then, after moving to Savannah, Ga. he played for seventeen years with one of Savannah's well known local bands; Ansel, Strong & Reeves performing in clubs all along River Street.

When the time came to move to Nashville, he was noticed quickly and began a career as a studio session player for many up and coming artists and songs. The more famous sessions included Mark Knofler, Tony Arata (writer of “The Dance” performed by Garth Brooks), and Davis Cossey.

George has been a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International for the past five years and has been an ASCAP member as well. He is defining his songwriting voice by continually writing and honing his craft as well as participating in the writing events held in Nashville.

*He currently plays a Fender Stratocaster, '58 Gibson Les Paul Jr., '52 Les Paul and a laptop slide. His influences include; Eric Clapton, Duayne Allman, Lowell George, Ry Cooder, Johnny Winter, Jimmy Hendrix and Jimmy Page.

"The internet is proving to be a great place to
get yourself noticed
and your songs heard
by a lot of people.
It's made it much more convenient to pitch songs and get feedback from publishers and fellow songwriters.
"

Songwriter / Lead Guitarist / Lead Vocalist
Lee Ladensack
Lee describes his musical role as a songwriter first and foremost. Raised primarily in the southern town of Brunswick, Georgia, Lee has been playing guitar and writing songs for about twenty years.

After graduating Glynn Academy High School, his father, who happened to be a Master Chief Naval Recruiter, convinced him to enlist in the United States Naval Band to further his musical education in their extensive theory program. While stationed in Charleston, SC, he learned to play a wide variety of instruments including, saxophone, piano, harmonica and bass.

His songwriting style has always maintained a country/rock/blues flavor and over the years he has been honing his craft in that genre. Lee says "One of the my most valuable experiences as a songwriter has been joining N.S.A.I. where I've had my songs critiqued by major songwriters and have learned the meaning of a 'hit' song". He makes frequent trips to Nashville with George and is hopeful that a songwriting deal will soon take shape.

*Lee plays a Fender Telecaster and a '77 Les Paul Deluxe. His influences include; John Hiatt, Ry Cooder, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and the three Kings - Albert, B.B. and Freddie.

"The band has come a long way. We've really focused our efforts on establishing a groove in our sound, and the harmonies are really what make us stand apart from the crowd."

Bassist / Vocalist
James "Bubba" Poe
James is the essence of a “Southern gentleman”. He is humble, well educated, always smiling and a hard worker. He was a member of the Atlanta based band “The Blue Cats” for some time and that collaboration resulted in a CD being recorded. Here's what “Bubba”, as he is affectionately known, has written about himself.

My interest in playing music began when I purchased my first guitar at age 12. By the next year or so I hooked up with a couple of friends in the neighborhood and have been involved in bands ever since.

Songwriting is not what I do, but songwriters need players and that's where I come in. I have been playing bass and primarily singing backup harmonies for some of the most talented songwriters in the Atlanta and Western North Carolina area for the past 15 years.

Musical influences in my life include my Dad, the Beatles, the Allman Brothers, Otis Redding, Marshall Tucker, Cowboy, Creedence Clearwater Revival and James Taylor just to name a few.

*James plays a Fender Precision Bass, a Fender Jazz Bass
and a '66 Yamaha Semi Hollow Body Bass.

"It's amazing how
a small group can have such a big sound. Even with all the competition out there, the originals seem to hold their own."

Percussionist / Vocalist
Tony Neel
Tony hails from St. Pete Florida where he attended Dixie Hollins High School. During his high school years he was very athletic and got into wrestling, football, baseball, swimming and track. His life has been full of interesting flavors. From commercial fisherman to piloting light aircrafts, Tony is well versed in the art of living.

As his interest in music increased, he went on to join or form various local Florida bands such as "The Rising Sun" and other noted dinner bands and stage acts and was fortunate enough to play back-up for country music great "Charlie Rich" as well as trumpeter "Al Hirt".

Tony's influences as far as drummers go are Louie Belson, Mitch Mitchell (from the Jimmy Hendrix Experience), and Ian Pace (from the group Deep Purple). His musical influences include Three Dog Night, The Yardbirds, Edgar Winter and Dire Straits.

*Tony plays the same kind of kit that Mitch Mitchell played, a '68 Champagne Sparkle Ludwig set. He also plays a Cherry Red Yamaha set. Tony plays Ziljian cymbals.
