Based in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, Hurricane Creek was formed in the Spring of 1997 by songwriters/ musicians George Reeves and Lee Ladensack for the purpose of writing and performing original material and earning enough money to record a CD.

Their songwriting style has been described as Country/ Rock/Blues and R&B. The tunes are catchy and cleverly written in today's radio format.

With Bassist James “Bubba” Poe and Drummer Tony Neel rounding out the four part harmonies they've come up with a great selection of cover songs to compliment their writing style.
